Pikelets

Pikelet with jam and cream.

Description

Pikelets are like miniature pancakes. Not only are they smaller, they're also thicker. They taste great with butter, syrup, jam, whipped cream, and many other toppings.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Sift the dry ingredients.
  2. Beat the egg and sugar.
  3. Add melted butter and milk.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients.
  5. Drop spoonful onto hot greased pan.
  6. Turn when brown.
  7. Wait until they are cold then apply butter and/or other toppings.
